Luke Lazar
Owner / Director
From an early age, Luke Lazar was surrounded by animals, sparking a lifelong love for nature and all living creatures. Inspired by Sir David Attenborough, he’s always been fascinated by the beauty of the natural world.
A proud father of four, Luke shares his home with horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and marine fish caring for his saltwater aquariums being one of his greatest passions.
Taking a leap of faith, Luke followed his heart and purchased Ivy Lodge Veterinary Clinic, driven by a simple goal to create a place where animals receive genuine care and clients feel a true sense of trust and compassion.

Ellie
Practice Manager
Ellie has been part of the veterinary nursing industry for seven years and joined the Ivy Lodge team in January 2025 as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, before quickly stepping into the role of Practice Manager. Animals have always been a huge part of her life — she even spent time as a zookeeper before moving into veterinary nursing!
Ellie loves to travel whenever she can and is an avid scuba diver, always eager to explore the underwater world and spot marine life up close. She’s passionate about leading the team, creating a positive and supportive environment, and finding new ways to improve the practice and the experience for every animal that comes through the door.

Ellen
Veterinary Receptionist
Ellen joined the Ivy Lodge team in April 2025 after previously working at a local veterinary hospital. With her warm and caring nature, she helps keep everything running smoothly and loves getting to know clients and their pets.
Outside of work, Ellen is kept busy by her two dogs and four grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys baking — and the team is always delighted when she brings in her homemade treats!

Esther
Veterinary Receptionist
Esther joined the Ivy Lodge team in December 2024 and brings her warm, friendly personality to everything she does. Originally from Manchester, she’s a busy mum of three boys and somehow still finds time to hit the gym, enjoy long walks with her two dogs, and make the most of the great outdoors.
Always ready with a smile (and a cup of tea or coffee!), Esther loves greeting clients and their pets and helping everyone feel welcome the moment they arrive at Ivy Lodge.

Bronnie
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Bronnie joined the Ivy Lodge team in September 2025 after graduating from the University of Bristol with a degree in Veterinary Nursing and Companion Animal Behaviour. Having always aspired to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse, she’s now furthering her passion by working towards a certificate in Clinical Animal Behaviour.
At home, Bronnie has a golden retriever and a hamster, but there’s always plenty of room in her heart for every animal that comes through the doors at Ivy Lodge. She’s dedicated to providing the best care possible and helping each patient feel safe, understood, and loved.

Tilly
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Tilly has always dreamed of working with animals, and that dream became a reality when she qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2025. She’s passionate about providing care and comfort to her patients, especially during emergencies and critical care situations, where she feels she can make the biggest difference.
Outside of work, Tilly is surrounded by her own furry and feathered family — a chocolate Labrador, two Cocker Spaniels, a Chihuahua, four cats, and an African Grey parrot. She’s excited to meet all of your furry family members and care for them as if they were her own.

Maisy
Student Veterinary Care Assistant
Maisy is completing her college work placement with the Ivy Lodge team and has always known she wanted to work with animals. Her passion for animal care began at a young age — she’s volunteered at an animal sanctuary since she was 13 and has gained experience with a wide range of animals including horses, pigs, sheep, goats, and donkeys.
At home, Maisy has one much-loved dog, Buddy. She hopes to become a Veterinary Nurse in the future and loves being part of the Ivy Lodge team, where she can help care for animals and support them on their journey to recovery.
