Veterinary Surgeons

Gerard Cashin MVB MRCVS

Gerry qualified from University College Dublin in 1979. He is an experienced equine veterinarian with over 30 years’ experience in equine practice. He has extensive knowledge of the thoroughbred racing and breeding industry.

Sarah Forder BVSc (hons) MRCVS

Sarah graduated with honours from the University of Queensland in 2004 and practiced on the Sunshine Coast of Australia until she moved to the UK in 2007. She joined the Ivy Lodge Veterinary Clinic in 2010 having previously worked at a busy small animal practice in East London.

Sarah has a broad interest in general practice with a particular enthusiasm for feline health and welfare. She lives with eight cats and enjoys traveling in her spare time.

Lauren Romain BVSc MRCVS

Lauren graduated with distinction from the University of Liverpool. She joined Ivy Lodge in 2017 and has special interests in Dermatology and Diagnostic imaging.

In her spare time, she enjoys skiing and snowboarding and spending time with her husband and their English Bull Terrier, Betty.

Veterinary Nurses

Pebbles Wyard RVN A1 VNCert ECC MBVNA

Pebbles is the Head Nurse and practice manager at Ivy lodge. She has been in practice since 2003, and has worked in different types of veterinary clinics including charity, referral and emergency.

She is also a qualified clinical coach and is responsible for training student nurses. She has achieved a certificate in emergency and critical care and volunteers at the veterinary department of London Zoo.

Georgina Wyard RVN

Georgina has been in practice since 2008 and joined the Ivy Lodge team in 2011. She entered the veterinary industry after a career in fashion design. She has a special interest in inpatient care and rabbit health and husbandry.

Georgina has 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 rabbits, 1 tortoise and selection of ducks and chickens. In her spare time Georgina enjoys knitting and crafting, running and kickboxing.

Nicola Jackson RVN

Nicola has been in practice since 2009. Prior to veterinary nursing she obtained her City and Guilds certificate in dog grooming and offers her services at Ivy Lodge. Nicola has a special interest in surgical nursing and anaesthesia.

She has a dog called Buddy and in her spare times enjoys mountain biking and taking Buddy on country walks.
